Some antivirus and personal firewall software has been known to cause issues with the AppEazy Software. Because of this, it is recommended that users make an exception for AppEazy within their antivirus or firewall software.


Below are instructions to a few popular antivirus softwares along with guides on how to make an exception for AppEazy.


Kaspersky

  1. Open Kaspersky Antivirus
  2. In the lower part of the main application window, click Settings.
  3. In the Settings window, go to the Additional section and select Threats and exclusions in the right frame.
  4. In the Threats and exclusions settings window, click the Configure exclusion rules link.
  5. In the Exclusion rules window, click Add.
  6. In the Add new exclusion rule window, in the File or folder section, click Browse. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Applianz\Client\ and click OK
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the Object field, enter ApplianzClient.exe
  9. In the Protection components section, add check boxes next to the following:
    • File Anti-Virus
    • Web Anti-Virus
    • Application Control
    • System Watcher
  10. Set the rule status to Active.
  11. Close the Exclusion rules window.
  12. Close the main application window.

AVG
  1. Open your AVG program.
  2. From the Options menu select Advanced settings.
  3. In the left pane select Exceptions.
  4. In the right pane click Add exception.
  5. In the drop-down menu please select the exception type Application or File.
  6. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Applianz\Client\, and select ApplianzClient.exe
  7. Click OK to save details of the exception.
  8. Click OK again to save the settings.

Norton
  1. Start your Norton product
  2. Click Settings
  3. Under Detailed Settings, click Antivirus
  4. On the Scan and Risks tab, scroll down to Exclusions / Low Risks
  5. Next to Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection row, click Configure
  6. In the Real Time Exclusions window, click Add Folders or Add Files.
  7. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Applianz\Client\, and select ApplianzClient.exe
  8. Click Apply, and then click OK.
